I hesitate to call myself a photographer, I am more a lover of the mountains who likes to record some of the spectacular scenery I see on my forays into the mountains. At the moment all the images here are from the UK and another aim is to show and recommend areas of special interest for those thinking of venturing into the UK's wild areas. One subject that has always fascinated me is sunsets. I think it it the intensity of colour that attracts me and the fact that every one is so different. A good example of this is several images in the Sunset Gallery, all taken from the same cottage in Scourie on different evenings during one week.

Recent additions to my portfolio are wildlife, Stratford upon Avon and steam trains.

The wildlife gallery is made up of animals and birds taken while in the mountains and I have added a few photographs of my fellow mountain walker Ben, a Wire Haired Fox Terrier. He is only wild if left behind.
